Dear Kickhams Club members, players and supporters,
We are a small club making a big impact but we know our facilities do not match up to our achievements.
We believe you, our players and members, deserve much better so we are embarking on a project to improve our clubhouse facilities.
We have set an ambitious target to raise β¬150,000 through fundraising activities, events, grant applications and sponsorship. All funds raised will be invested in improving our clubhouse so that we can create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
Our progress:
The good news is weβre already off to a great start. π With the support of all weather pitch sign partners, a number of projects have been completed since 2021 including grass pitch netting, gym development and grounds work - and thanks to your dedication in selling GAA National Club Draw tickets, we raised β¬15,000! Half of this will benefit our juvenile teams, and the rest will kick start this Clubhouse Improvement Project.
There is much we would like to achieve from improving the toilet facilities and changing rooms to essential electrical upgrades and more.
π¨ With the initial funds raised, we'll start by repairing and replacing the netting around the pitch β a project set to begin in the coming months.
There are big jobs and small jobs on our list, and we hope that by working together we can achieve a lasting impact for our club.
